Serving the Community
Both Jessica and Nathan have chosen this time in their lives to look toward starting a family-run business focusing on the impact in their local community.
Establishing a foundation for Nathan and Jessica's two young children to absorb and take over as they grow was another big motivator. They are residents of the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota community where they live with their two beautiful daughters and their pup, Brody.
Get to Know Nathan
Nathan is Marine Corp veteran who has a huge passion for meeting new people and helping others.
After discharging from duty, has focused his career on servicing visually-impaired veterans in achieving independent living through training in assistive technology, white cane skills, and adapted activities for daily living. He has a Master's degree in Special Education from Northern Illinois University.
After spending a decade serving his fellow veterans, Nathan is retiring to his love of heavy equipment.
While serving as an active duty Marine, Nathan was a diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, and small engine mechanic. He also drove many heavy-wheeled vehicles during his time in the Marines. All of these skills should translate well into this new career path!
Get to Know Jessica
Jessica has a law degree, graduating from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2005.
No stranger to start-up business ventures, Jessica has headed up the legal and compliance functions for financial technology companies for a large part of her career, contributing to growth and expansion of one firm that resulted in its IPO in 2021.
Jessica has an undergraduate business degree in operations management, making her uniquely positioned to understand and navigate the logistical challenges of this business.
